Kristin (my little sister) spent the weekend with us, of course she had to break my heart and talk about wanting to move in due to feeling like she doesn't really belong now that Daddy is gone. She spent a lot of time at Daddy's, she is dealing with things and is open about it, but she is grieving the only way a 13 year old can, she relies on attention from friends, etc...,please keep her in your prayers that she will rely on God and not get headed in the wrong direction. I worry about her.

I will for sure be praying for Kristen. She is such a beautiful girl. I wish she felt more secure right now with having to go through the grieving process.
God is right there with her though, and you too Kelley.
I pray she runs to Him with her arms open wide. Only HE can know and give her what she needs. Not that I have gone through this same situation but the Lord knows when you need Him and He is ALWAYS there waiting!

Thanks Holly. Kristin is a pretty girl and she is sweet. She is involved with a youth group at church and I have met the leader of it, they are holding her close which is a relief to me. I will spend time with her too. If it wasn't for God neither of us would be able to get through this, but knowing Daddy accepted Christ has given us hope because we know we will see him again. I am so thankful that Mom always encouraged me to have a relationship with Daddy because I kept an open mind and was able to share sweet time with him through his illness and his final days. There's no regrets. Thanks for your kind words.
