Easter Past and Easter Hope

Easter is nearly here and with it I think back over the Easters past with Anna Kate. Her second Easter she gave her pacifiers (sassy's) up to the Easter Bunny in exchange for a chocolate bunny. I'll never forget her standing in line with a basket of 'sassies' having to savor each one just one last time until her turn to sit in his lap. Then the next year she told us the Easter Bunny had someone in his mouth, haha! She has always LOVED the Easter Bunny, this year is no exception, each time we are at the mall she has to run over and say hello, I think they are on a first name basis by now. With that said, Easter is the celebration of our Risen Savior, the hope we all have upon life and also death. I think about Daddy in heaven, this is actually his first Easter knowing Christ as his Savior and he is getting to see it first hand.
