Mom's Birthday,

My Grandparents had us over for a cookout to celebrate Mom's birthday, I think we all maybe had a sugar high on the cake! (heehee) My Nana cracked me up, I have never seen her act silly like that, I was taking the pics of all of us together, and as you can see, sometimes I got us all in other times I didn't. Nana laughed so hard she had tears. We had a nice time on Mom's birthday.

Hair

Well this evening is my appointment to have my hair colored, so Jamie and Mom I am going to trust the two of you and go for it, (no one else gave me their opinions, thanks guys!), I'll post a pic when I get home.

Life goes on, look how much baby Hannah has grown since February, sweet baby!

Last picture of Daddy, he was so excited that baby Hannah smiled at him, he wanted a picture of all of 'us girls' with him, Mom took the pic with a cell phone, last picture of my sweet little Daddy.


To some it may seem weird the combination of pics on this post, but to me it kind of tells a story. A baby can bring a smile to anyone's face it seems, no matter the circumstance. Baby Hannah made a terrible time a little lighter for all of us, even for Daddy. God sends comforts in various forms. Even the pic of Kristin and the sadness we felt, look at the pretty roses, God's beauty is always around us.

I was looking at pictures with Mom and came across these, precious memories, precious pictures. My Daddy giving me away on my wedding day, 07-29-00, (bless him he had bells palsy that day too)

On second thought,

Okay, maybe it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Granted it would not be my choice of a costume, but when the entire group of the little girls were together they looked sweet. The little routine is to the song, 'Stupid Cupid'. Anna Kate loves her dance and gymnastic class night, she has almost mastered a cart wheel!(I still cannot do one). She said on the way home today that she cannot wait to get on the big stage. When asked if she knows what a stage is she had a good answer, she said, "Like American Idol!"

I hope everyone has a good weekend! Anna Kate is having her pic made in her little dance recital tutu for the program they hand out the night of the recital tomorrow. They asked for them to wear makeup, of course Anna Kate is all about that, we'll ask Gran for help with it. These costumes are the tackiest things, my child is not a frilly looking little girl (although she loves that kind of stuff), think red and white lacy tutus with sequins and big red bows on the socks. Her dance recital is May 9th and I am hoping she partcipates and doesn't get shy. They also do a gymnastic routine too. I'm sure I will have plenty of pics to share if not a video too. We'll probably take some pics tomorrow on our own so I can share a preview.
