Happy Birthday Nana Faye!

Congratulations to Trippe and Katherine York (and the big sister Sarah) on the birth of their new little daughter, 'Hannah Katherine', (8#3oz.) Welcome to our family precious baby girl!

Sunday we took Anna Kate to our Church's Fall Festival, called 'The Pumpkin Patch', she was so cute in her costume (I'll post pictures soon). They had so many fun things for the children to do. They had games, face painting, hayrides, moonwalk,bunjee jump,tatoos, plus hotdogs and desserts, truly a heaven for kids.

Mom and I went to this apple orchard Saturday http://www.mercier-orchards.com/ , the store is wonderful. Homemade apple desserts, breads, cider, sauces,etc.., if you can think of it, they have it. The apples from there make the ones in the grocery store taste like anything but an apple, these are so crisp and sweet.

Good News...,

Praise be to God for good news about my Dad's PET scan, it showed cancer contained to the lung (no where else in the body), and the tumor is responding to the radiation treatment as it has already shrunk considerably. Also, God blessed us with a Christian doctor who witnessed to my Dad and has challenged him to read 'Luke' and discuss it with him next visit, he also gave him a Bible. God is always working his miracles even when we don't know the big picture, but He does, and I find great comfort in that. Please continue to pray for my Dad as he fights this battle with cancer, also pray that he will accept the Lord into his life.

Disney on Ice Princess Show

Mom and I took the little Princess Anna Kate to see Disney on Ice Princess Show tonight. Anna Kate love, love, loved it! Her favorite Princess was SnowWhite. She wanted to go on the rink and skate with them. Of course the night would not be complete without a $10.00 snowcone and $8.00 popcorn for her, goodness those people know how to make the money...,every kid in there had something, and trust me, I feel I came out cheap after seeing some of the prices on other items. Only my child would come up with the question of where was the bathroom in the Princess's Ice Castle, this was after she acidentally spilled water on the little boy in front of her seats head and shirt, (oh my goodness!) So glad we were able to take the sweet baby girl for a girls night out just for her. It was fun.
