Five year check up,

Anna Kate had a well check up to start kindergarten, after many tears and dreading to go to the doctor (afraid of shots, thank goodness she was caught up on those), she made it through it all ( not without a finger stick, the drama!) She's a big girl now and all ready for kindergarten.

In Memory of my cousin Stacie,(mother, daughter, sister, aunt, neice, cousin, friend, and child of God), always in our hearts and memories. Part of her not only lives on in her legacy, her son, but as an organ donor, many lives were saved. We were blessed having her in our lives if only for a short while. Please pray for the family for healing and comfort.

In Memory of My Sweet Daddy

One year ago my Daddy lost his battle with cancer, I remember it was a rainy day then, just like today. Time eases pain, but I still miss him so much, I stop myself sometimes from picking up the phone to call him. I love when I dream of him, it's as if I get a little glimpse of him once more, however, when I wake up it is bittersweet. I often wonder if God allows us that little glimpse of our loved ones which have passed away for our comfort when we need it most. I was blessed to see my Daddy accept Jesus as his Saviour, and with that assurance I know he is heaven and I will see him again some day. Just wanted to share a little tribute to him.
